Story:
"ONE HOUR 2 LIVE" - A Fictional Dramatic Production.
The play takes place in the head of a gang member on death row with one hour to live for the murders of two neighborhood acquaintences. The people whom he killed come to visit him in his cell and expose all the ramifications that take place, behind the scenes, when you take another person's life. They get him to understand that when he killed them, he ended his own life, and all of his future possibilities
Reverend Princeton Henry Holt
Writer/Producer
Born and reared in Brooklyn, NY, Princeton Holt studied theology at Oakwood College and Andrews Theological Seminary. He was director of Youth Ministries for South Central Conference serving churches in Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi and Northwest, Florida. He has been a pastor in the South Atlantic, South Central, Midwest, and presently in the Northeastern part of the country.
Inspiration:
Princeton's desire is to elevate the value and sacredness of human life. " Life is God's greatest gift to man, he says, "it is a sacred trust not to be taken by another. When you take someone's life prematurely, you deprive the universe of the contribution that only that life can make." Inspired by the play "Bang Bang You're Dead" he chose to communicate this message through a dramatic production believing that pictures and images have a more lasting impact than does the spoken word. Princeton believes that these kids who kill need a paradignm shift, an epiphany, and he believes that when they leave the auditiorium, after seeing this play, they will never look at life quite the same.
